A Family of Five

WOW! This has been the perfect day. I can't even describe the feeling we all have right now. She is ours, in our room here and taking her nap. She was SO happy to see us, and so excited to be leaving with us. Here is a picture of us heading to the hotel with her, She is in her own clothes and SO into the boys and the action.

She came back here, and LOVED it all; the boys playing with her, her new toys, cheerios, the apartment and everything!

It was kind of sad-taking her out of there. There was one nurse that I always noticed, taking extra time with Sylvi-watching us with her, getting her cleaned, and dressed. I also saw her spend extra time with the other kids, training, mirror, blocks, spoons, etc. When we got there to pick her up, that nurse left the room quickly. Here we had 8 big bags of gifts for them all, and she was leaving? We said our goodbyes, Sylvi was so happy, and gave the gifts. On the way out, we had to leave going the back way to deliver one more document to the director. Here, walking through the back room, we ran into her sitting in a chair. She saw us, and I said to her 'Spaseeba' and 'Dasvidanya', (Thank You, and Goodbye), and covered my heart and said 'I Lublu Her'. She looked up and was crying. She talked to me quickly in Russian, our translator was too far ahead, but I know what she said. She held Sylvi's hand and said goodbye.

Sylvi is on an adventure now. She just laid down to nap, after playing with all of us, even laughed for Trygve and Karl, danced, played, SKYPED family, and just was excellent. As we were changing her to go down for nap, she did another first; She laughed out loud for the first time with us-at the boys tickling her.

We are totally in love here, just everyone sitting around the door of her nap room, waiting for her to get up.

Gotta go, I think it is time for her to get up, and I'M NOT MISSING OUT!!

The JOY is bubbling over everywhere! We just can't get over the beautiful "special delivery" of Sylvi! I think she's been with you in spirit since she was born. It all looks so natural and we are overjoyed with YOUR JOY!! With love from Gma Diane and Gpa Alf
