HERE SHE IS! We are amazed at what God had planned for us with this little girl!! More than words can say right now, but the visit went so WELL! She is amazing-was shy at first, just us in a room with the consultant, then Kaia took her in her arms and she was so serious! She kept staring at us both, clenching her little fists. We were just talking to her, giving her things, trying to get her to relax. Finally, she started to respond and smile at Kaia-then she started laughing, and playing with me-and we had a BALL! She is so smart and beautiful. We were really moved by the 2 hours we spent with her by ourselves. She is just perfect. We can't wait to see her tomorrow! We came back and emailed the pictures to UW doctors right away, and they responded about an hour ago (middle of the night there) that ALL looks great. We meet with her doctor tomorrow, and start the acceptance process. We are SO HAPPY tonight! Little Sylvi Lois DeBoer.

Yippee!!! Our whole family crowded around the compute this morning to check for an update....and we were thrilled with what we read!
God is so faithful! She is so beautiful! We are so happy for you and will continue to pray that the rest of the process goes well and QUICKLY!.

Oh my gosh!! We could hardly sleep lastnight!! We are so happy... it's overwhelming!! She looks perfect! We love her so much already... can't wait for her to be home. Look forward to all the exciting preparations!!

We are SO happy for you! When I saw the header "Sylvi Lois DeBoer" I just got chills! I can't tell you how excited we are for all of you. I have just had to shoo all my children away as we just had seven people crowded around the laptop! It is amazing to think that out of all the children in the world, this is the little girl for you. She is absolutely beautiful! Congratulations!!

Wow. I saw the title, got excited and didn't breathe until I read that you actually get to adopt her! Then I cried with your happiness! Try to keep that happiness in your heart and on your face even when you have to leave. She will remember you and be longing for your smiling faces. Love, Jill
Oh my gosh, I cant stop crying and looking at the pictures!! She looks sooo happy to be with you! I can tell that you have fallen in love with her already and she with you both! It all looks so meant to be! Atleast you know that when you have to leave her it will only be for a short while and you left her with lots of love AND you know now that you will be coming back for her soon!!! :) We all cant wait to hear more when you get back and especially to meet her! The Vail family is so excited for you all! I love the pictures of Sylvi interacting with you two and smiling. How are the conditions in the orphanage? Will it be difficult now for you to leave her, or are you comfortable that she is well taken care of? Obviously will be emotionally difficult to leave her now that you've bonded, but much easier if you have good feelings about her care over the next couple months. I'm in agreement... just put her in your suitcase! We can't wait to meet her... way too many boys around here, we need a sweet girl!
Grandma Diane and Grandpa Alf are "beside themselves" with joy, and can't concentrate on anything but Sylvi and her wonderful big brothers! It is such a privilege to be on this journey with you, and we think she is such a gift!!

Hey guys...I finally figured out how to add these comments. We've been following all along and waited up last night to find out what happened! I couldn't sleep, so I can't imagine how anxiuos you guys have been. She is soooo beautiful and I keep crying everytime I look at the pictures of you guys w/her. I know you guys feel like the lucky ones (and you are) but I think Baby Sylvi is THE luckiest! She is becoming part of an amazing family (not just the 2 of you and 2 incredible big bro's) but also the aunts, uncles, cousins, grandparents, and all of the wonderful friends waiting here to meet,love, and spoil her. I can't wait until you are home to hear & see more...but I especially can't wait until Sylvi comes home too!! Take care, we are thinking of you guys constantly and love you. CONGRATULATIONS!!! What a wonderful plan Heavenly Father had for you all along! This just goes to show He hears and answers prayers and showers blessings beyond comprehension. The pictures are totally beautiful, and it is plain to see that there is a massive love affair going on over there!
